To visit the Kruger Park is on my wish list. I have been to other Game Reserves and it is the most relaxing and exciting way to spend a holiday. It is exciting to get up at the crack of dawn to go on a game and spotting all the animals, back to base for lunch a quick nap or lazing around. To sit by a camp fire in the evenings and watch the sun go down with a glass of wine and watch the bird.
As an immigrant to this lovely country of 22 years, I can honestly say that I do not need to travel outside Africa as I can honestly say that Africa gets into your blood. I enjoy South Africa, live and work in Johannesburg and trust I will never have to leave this continent. I have visited many game reserves either with my caravan or staying in chalets and can truly say that I never get tired of the Kruger National Park which is still the greatest drawcard for overseas visitors and of course for my husband and I.I have a Green card which I renew when it is due so that I can continue visiting Sanparks. I am a an avid photographer of wild life which enables me to enjoy my two best pastimes together. If I win this prize I will not be able to stop smiling and telling all my friends of my good fortune.
My boyfriend & I really enjoy going to game parks for the peace & quiet, getting away from the hussle & bustle of city life for a few days. But mainly to see the wonderful wildlife SA has to offer. We often only go for day drives & do not stay over, so this would be a great opportunity for us to do that & hopefully see the big 5 during our stay there.
I just love the sound of this!! to picture it in my mind…..To be close to nature, is to be close to God’s Creation. Nothing is more relaxing than seeing and feeling the sun rise in the morning and go down at night, to get away from your daily routine….. just “chill” and adore the beauty of live!
I am an artist and have just completed a painting of a chimp. It has been done based on a series of photos. I would love to be able to visit Kruger National Park and paint your beautiful animals on site! It would fulfill a long time dream of mine to be among these wonderful creatures and capture special moments with my camera and my brush. Thank you for this opportunity to try to win this fantastic prize for my man and myself.
I am a Paramedic/Lecturer (ILS). I am recently divorced, so I have to start all over again. I work + – 18hrs a day 7 days a week. I’m reaching Burnout at the moment. I probably not in this lifetime will ever be able to afford a holiday to the Kruger National Park, unless I am fortnate to win a prize like this. In fact the word ‘holiday’ does not form part of my vocabulary. I love humans, animals and nature, hence my calling/ career. Also I turn 50yrs on 5th Feb 2012, imagine a gift like this! WOW!!!!
II HAVE NEVER VISITED THE KRUGER NATIONAL PARK, I HAVE HEARD IT IS BEAUTIFUL KEPT AND THE
THE ANIMALS ARE KEPT IN GOOD CONDITION. ALSO THE STAFF MANAGING THE PARK ARE OBLIGING
AND THE ACCOMMODATION IS KEPT IN PRISTINE CONDITION. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PLACE IT IS TO BE TO HAVE A HOLIDAY IN THE KRUGER NATIONAL PARK THANKS. RUBY.
Would love to take my wife, she is slowing coming over to the wild life side and i know this will just give her the push needs in the right directions. And it i will be a nice gift to give her before the little one comes along Good luck to everyone!
I always hear from other people how beautifull the Kruger National Park is. I just don’t have the money to visit that beautifull place. I am a single mother with two children. They are both studing at present. My mom is also staying with us. I wish I can give her and my children the holiday of there lifes. I think all of us need that, after they lost a brother and I son. We did not have a holiday sinse my son died three years ago. Hope for the best!!!
We visited the Kruger Park October 2010 and had a wonderful time we saw lots of animals and we found that the staff all treated us with a smile and respect. The accommodation was good. It was a pity that I had a problem as I could not walk without help due to all my back operations but I came by we made lots of photographs and we would really love to visit again soon and hopefully next time I can walk without help and enjoy it much more. We applied for our life long Wildcard while we were in the Kruger Park and we use quite often.
I would be overjoyed to win this holiday….!
Being a lover of Wildlife, this would be my dream trip!
Having been layed off work back in September and caring for my 99 year old neighbour, a magical vacation like this would refresh me and tick every one of my boxes!
Have not been on holiday for a more than 4 years and this would just be magic. Been unemployed for a while so u forget the luxuries for a long time. Love the Kruger
I would love to visit the Kruger Park again, my passion for wildlife all began there when I went along with a family tour group feeling disinterested and having no idea how this experience could possibly match the beaches in Cape Town, i was wrong, 10 years later, I am still thrilled by the night sounds of nocturnal animals, the early morning game drives, the spectacular birdlife and the almost virtual exp
erience of watching a lion hunting it’s prey. I cannot resist capturing the fascinating dung beetles at work and the hypnotic shades of a cheetah and
leopard’s hide.
I often share this missing link with my
wildlife-challenged friends, family and colleagues in Cape Town assuring them that theres a huge void in their life journey without it!
I would love to spoil my father on a trip to visit the Kruger Park , my father Norman has looked after me from the age of 6 months old despite me having a disability on his own without a mom and still does what he can for me He dreamed of becoming a game ranger when he was young and become a painter instead as he come from a poor back ground , in December last year he just retired after 46 years of working and needs a Getaway. Both of us have never been to a Game lodge \ park and this will be the ultimate
Holiday of a life time for us and much needed quality time .
Ever since I was a child I have visited Kruger Park every year of my life. I moved to Durban 4 years ago,
And since then I have’nt been to the KNP.
It is my favourite holiday destination and I miss it.
Winning this competition would fill the void in my heart that I have from missing the one place
That makes me feel home.
It will be the greatest gift for my pensioner parents to go to Kruger National Park – I would love to win this opportunity to give to them a holiday never to forget! Pick me, pick me, please!!!
